Some love stories don’t recognize borders. They recognize flavors, aromas, and the sound of waves breaking just steps away from the dance floor. Angeliki & Tomas met in London — two chefs fluent in the language of fire, precision, and passion. Their love grew between busy services and late-night kitchen talks. And when “forever” arrived, they knew one thing: this wouldn’t be just a wedding. It would be an experience. The design and concept were curated by Rogdaki Events , under the creative direction of Anna‑Maria Rogdaki , who shaped the entire celebration with a blend of Mediterranean soul and tropical warmth.
Greek Tradition Meets Costa Rican Warmth
Angeliki knewThe day began at the beautifully adorned Church of Pantocrator in Patras — a place rooted in tradition, history, and meaning. A sacred setting where rituals feel timeless, not staged. She knew exactly what she wanted from the start. What feels more Greek than bougainvillea? What feels more tropical than pineapples and banana leaves? Bold peonies in vibrant shades brought depth and character to the overall simplicity. Nothing excessive — just honest beauty. The ceremony was deeply emotional, the child that doesn’t need grand gestures to feel powerful.
A Beach Bar Reception Where Two Worlds Became One
Tables wereThe wedding favorsThe celebration continued at a beach bar by the sea, with guests traveling from all corners of the world. Different languages, different cultures — yet that evening, everyone spoke the same one: joy. Tables were styled with tropical fruits, lush greenery, and elegant touches of bougainvillea, blending Mediterranean soul with Latin warmth. Soft fairy lights intertwined through the leaves created a cinematic atmosphere — not staged, but alive. The wedding favors reflected the couple’s refined taste: real banana leaves wrapped delicately with dried flowers. Even the sugared almonds carried tropical flavors — because when two chefs get married, every detail has intention.
Polaroid Moments Under Palms and Bougainvillea
A beautifully curated Photo Booth combined tradition with playful interaction. Instant Polaroid prints, handcrafted props, and a backdrop of palms and bougainvillea turned every snapshot into a keepsake. Guests didn’t just take photos — they took memories home. Tangible, sun‑kissed, summer‑scented moments.
Music, Dancing & the Heart of Celebration
The music started early and ended late — as it should. Latin rhythms blend effortlessly with Greek classics. Grandmothers danced next to friends from London. Laughter needed no translation. This wedding didn’t try to impress. It simply knew who it was. Greek and tropical. Rooted yet free. A celebration where heritage meets horizon. And in the end, that is what “forever” truly looks like.
