The 130th anniversary of the first publication of “Peloponnisos” newspaper marked a significant milestone for the city of Patras and the Greek press. Our company, Rogdaki Events Trademark, had the honor of undertaking the design and decor curation at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras, creating an environment that reflected the prestige and long-standing history of this iconic publication. Our designer, Anna-Maria Rogdaki, approached the project with the goal of highlighting historical memory, transforming the venue into a living chronicle spanning from 1886 to the present day.
The presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, lent the corporate event the highest institutional significance. The decor and spatial arrangement had to fully harmonize with official protocol, while maintaining a character that honored the city and the newspaper’s contribution to journalism. The Rogdaki Events Trademark team worked with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every area of the Conference Center exuded the respect and serenity required for the reception of the country’s first citizen and hundreds of official guests.
In the common areas and the main hall, Anna-Maria Rogdaki integrated archival material and historic front pages, offering attendees the opportunity to journey through local history. The aesthetic direction we provided as a company was based on high-quality materials and clean lines, avoiding unnecessary elements and focusing on the anniversary character. The result was a space that served as the ideal backdrop for this premier celebration, emphasizing the timeless value of “Peloponnisos” as a pillar of social and cultural life in the region.

The celebration for the 130th anniversary of Peloponnisos newspaper culminated in a glamorous dinner at the seaside venue of Porto Rio. Anna-Maria Rogdaki brought her creative identity to life, designing a setting that seemed to float above the pool against the backdrop of the deep blue sea. The table decor featured imposing silver candelabras adorned with lush arrangements of sunflowers, purple lisianthus, and fresh greenery, creating a stunning contrast with the crisp white linens.
The ambient lighting, combined with the warmth of the candles, fostered an environment of absolute prestige. Rogdaki Events Trademark ensured that every corner of Porto Rio exuded professionalism and hospitality, offering guests and the President of the Republic an unforgettable experience. The meticulous attention to detail highlighted the timelessness of the historic newspaper, concluding the anniversary in the most impressive and sophisticated manner.
