An unforgettable evening of elegance, glamour, and festive sophistication took place on Wednesday, December 18th, as the prestigious Grande Holiday Gala Dinner & Concert unfolded at the iconic Hotel Grande Bretagne. The magnificent decor, designed by Anna-Maria Rogdaki and the Rogdaki Trademark Events team, set the tone for a truly exceptional night.

A Scene of Festive Elegance

At exactly 9:00 p.m., the Grand Ballroom opened its doors to reveal an awe-inspiring setup. With luxurious textures, golden accents, and carefully curated lighting, Rogdaki Events brought to life an atmosphere that perfectly balanced timeless sophistication with New York-inspired festive flair. The design spoke to those with a refined taste for glamour and detail, creating a setting that elevated the entire event.

Artistic Brilliance & Timeless Atmosphere

The event’s artistic mastermind was renowned Maestro Yiannis Hadjiloizou, who made a stunning entrance alongside his wife and CEO of “FA”, Petra Palenyik Hadjiloizou, both dressed in elegant Tom Ford. As the couple made their way through the crowd, the Maestro signaled the beginning of the evening’s musical program with a historic performance of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker” in Duke Ellington’s jazz arrangement—a first-ever presentation of this version in Greece, setting an extraordinary tone for the night.

The highlight of the evening was guest star George Davlas, whose impressive vocal performance and charismatic stage presence captivated the audience.

The evening began with a stylish welcome drink at the Royal Room, hosted by Mr. George Karamitros of the Monsieur Nicolas estate, featuring sparkling SNOB wines in white and rosé. Guests enjoyed an elegant networking reception before heading into the main gala.

The gala dinner was a culinary masterpiece curated by acclaimed chef Asterios Koustoudis, featuring scallops, lobster, filet mignon, and a rich chocolate dessert. The meal was perfectly paired with Idylle d’Achinos and La Tour Melas wines, with Mr. Kyros Melas, owner of the latter, seated at the Hadjiloizou couple’s table.
