The Faces – People of the Year 2023 award ceremony took place on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras. The event highlighted individuals who stood out during 2023 for their work, creativity and contribution to the cultural, professional and social life of the region.
Award Ceremony & Presenters
The ceremony was presented by PR manager George Davlas, head of DAVLAS AND PARTNERS together with Nicole Makri, journalist and radio producer.
The event was supported by the editorial team of the “Peloponnisos” newspaper and the pelop.gr platform.
A total of 20 award recipients were selected by the organizing committee, following suggestions from both the public and the evaluation team.
Artistic Program
The ceremony included performances by internationally recognized artists from the Greek National Opera. Participants included Elena Kelessidi,, soprano with leading roles in major opera houses abroad, Vassiliki Karagianni, soprano with appearances in prominent theatres, festivals and concert halls, and Yiannis Christopoulos, tenor who has performed as a soloist in national and international venues. Their participation formed the structured artistic part of the evening.
Event Design by Anna Maria Rogdaki
The spatial design and decoration of the venue were undertaken by Anna Maria Rogdaki and the Rogdaki Events Trademark team. The setup included a stage designed for clear visibility, photography and video recording, entrance points with lighting, candles and floral elements, guest pathways with coordinated signage leading to the ceremony hall, and designated photo areas suitable for award presentation and press material. Lighting, decorative elements and spatial layout were organized to support the flow of the evening, from guest arrival to the award presentation and artistic segments.
