In Greece we say: “You can’t change a winning team”.
So after one of the most royal weddings our Rogdaki Events Trademark team produced, Annie, one of our most resourceful brides, wanted a Royal Christening Celebration for the new family member.
As it is a tradition the baby would be named after his grandfather, Nicolas a nautical name of a family with naval tradition.
Royal Blue and Gold, sailor huts and huge paper boats with blue and white flower arrangements with hydrangeas, white roses and blue orchids, gave us a dream scenery.
The Athens 2004 Olympic Celebration opening ceremony paper boat was the inspiration of our head designer Mrs Anna- Maria Rogdaki who used it as an art dell’ a table centrepiece and a pool decoration.
In the “Paper Boat Prince Nicolas” event purity, innocence, glamour, Greece and tradition made a mixture of a dream for a baby christening to be remembered through time.
Ships are the nearest things to dreams that hands have ever made, for somewhere deep in their oaken hearts the soul of a song is laid.”
