Stavroula and Rupert, a couple from abroad, chose the city of Patras and the Saint Andrew’s church to host their chic and simple orthodox wedding. The church was decorated with white columns and natural white and pink roses framed by lanterns. The rice was placed at a pride of place outside of the church.
Throwing rice at the couple while they get out of the church is an orthodox ritual which represents the strong roots of the wedding. In the church, to the place where the couple stands, there were two half large candles on top of crystal stands. The tray and the wedding pitcher were decorated with pink and white hydrangeas.
The wish-book table was also a candy bar filled with traditional treats, giving the opportunity to all of the guests to come closer to the Greek culture. An enormous tree of life as a main attraction decorated with pink chrysanthemum as well as all forms of flowers and greenery, making an ideal composition for the occasion. The art de la table was simplistic yet majestic. The scenery if the sea constituted the wedding table’s view.
While the time was passing by, an amazing sunset appeared and in conjunction with the peaceful sound of the waves, all the guests felt like they were part of a fairytale. The wedding favor was also something to note, having the shape of an olive branch circle, with hand tied laced sugar almonds, a unique design to bring the overall look to the next level while the sugar almonds were decorated with 3d shapes, making the composition even more special.
While the scenery looked like fairytale, the view of the sea was accompanied by piano sounds making the atmosphere even more magical. A live band made the night even more joyful. The band deepened the entertainment bringing cheerfulness and dancing for many hours.
