The Awards Ceremony for the People of the Year 2023 took place on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras.
The ceremony was hosted by PR manager George Davlas, head of DAVLAS AND PARTNERS and social columnist for the journalistic organization “Peloponnesus” and radio producer Nicole Makri, with the support of the editorial team of “PELOPONNESOS” and pelop.gr.
During the event, individuals were recognised for their talent, contributions throughout 2023, and their influence, creativity, and exemplary behaviour. From the Peloponnese Organization, 20 individuals were nominated by the judging and organising committee, taking into account public suggestions.
The anniversary evening was embellished with performances by internationally renowned artists of the National Opera:
Soprano Elena Kelessidi, known for her numerous leading roles in major theaters worldwide, the Soprano Vassiliki Karagianni with appearances in significant opera houses, festivals, and concert halls globally, and acclaimed performances in numerous leading roles, honored by the Union of Greek Theatre and Music Critics (2001).
And Tenor Yiannis Christopoulos, who has performed as a soloist in various national and international opera houses, interpreting roles from both classical and contemporary repertoires.
The venue was decorated by Anna-Maria Rogdaki and her company Rogdaki Events Trademark
