From Miami to Mykonos

Welcome Party at Alemagou, Mykonos

Jessica and Josh travelled from Miami to Mykonos to get married surrounded by their family and closest friends.

They welcomed their guests at Alemagou. By the sea, with music and the unmistakable energy of Mykonos, the welcome party was their way of bringing everyone together as they arrived on the island.

For friends and family who had travelled all the way to Greece to celebrate with them, it was the moment everyone was finally in the same place for the same reason. And that is part of what makes a wedding in Mykonos so special. The island is not simply a beautiful backdrop. It becomes part of the memories the couple and their guests create together.

Private Villa Wedding in Mykonos | From Vows to Sunrise

For their wedding, Jessica and Josh chose the privacy of a villa with open views across the Aegean.

The ceremony was set facing the sea. White chairs, white ceremony stands and the deep blue of the Aegean behind the couple created a bright, elegant setting while allowing the landscape to remain an essential part of the scene.

Jessica and Josh exchanged their vows with the sea behind them and the people they loved gathered around them. The setting had all the elegance the moment needed, without taking attention away from what mattered most.

For dinner, the atmosphere shifted completely.

A long statement table was illuminated by glass candle holders and gold chandeliers, creating one of the strongest visual moments of the evening. As daylight faded, the glow of the candles and chandeliers brought warmth and depth to the space.

Glass, candlelight and gold were enough to give the dinner its own identity, without unnecessary additions.

And once dinner was over, the villa took on a completely different character.

The after party moved into a private club atmosphere, with personalised neon signs featuring Jessica and Josh’s names, music turned up and guests filling the dance floor.

At one point, Josh took over the music himself, making the night even more personal and unmistakably theirs.

Inside, one neon sign read:

See You at Sunrise.

And the night lived up to it.

The party continued until sunrise.

Perhaps that is one of the best things to remember about this wedding. Not only how everything looked, but the fact that nobody wanted the night to end.

That is what we want to achieve at Rogdaki Events.

To make sure everything that needs to happen behind the scenes has already been taken care of, so that when the wedding day arrives, the couple does not have to manage it. They can simply live it.

To look at the person you are marrying during the ceremony without thinking about what comes next. To sit down with the people you love in a setting created for you. To reach the party and completely forget what time it is.

Because your wedding is not everything that had to be organised to make it happen.

It is everything you will remember once it is over.

The following day, Rogdaki Events also organised the brunch for Jessica, Josh and their guests.

If you are imagining your own wedding in Mykonos, start with something more important than the decoration.

How do you want to feel when that day finally arrives?

We will take care of the rest.
