Anna-Maria Rogdaki and the team at Rogdaki Events Design created an evening that feels both contemporary and perfectly integrated with the Glyfada environment. The entire concept focused on highlighting the building’s clean lines while adding thoughtful details that enhance the sense of hospitality without overpowering the hotel’s character.

Organic Textures and Mid-Century Influences

In the outdoor area, the color palette stayed strictly earthy — shades of sand and wood that blend naturally with the Swim Club surroundings. Crossback chairs paired with linen tablecloths delivered effortless luxury, while terracotta centerpieces added a sculptural touch to every table. Instead of traditional flowers, we used fresh herbs and foliage, giving the art de la table a modern Mediterranean feel and making the decoration appear as a natural extension of the Ace Hotel itself.

Atmospheric Lighting and Swim Club Vibes in Glyfada

Lighting was key to transforming the space after dark and reinforcing the urban chic atmosphere of Glyfada. String lights created a glowing ceiling above the guests, while floating luminous spheres on the pool produced beautiful reflections on the water. This precise placement of light sources emphasized the building’s geometric forms and set the perfect mood for a high-end dinner party. The final result strikes the ideal balance between industrial design and warm hospitality, proving that outstanding event design must tell the story of the venue it inhabits.
